This year we were challenged by Subway® to supply, staff, and operate a pop-up souvenir shop at their Global BDLAC & Convention in Toronto, Canada. We offered a wide variety of logoed items and apparel, including custom Bluetooth speakers, rockin’ Subway® socks, and commemorative pins, along with apparel offerings ranging from t-shirts and hoodies to trucker caps. Complete with a youth section, every participant was able to find that special Subway® souvenir to remind them of their experience in Toronto.
We kicked off this venture by working with Subway® to storyboard the store concept and theme. From there, we engaged several trend-setting brands to design and produce items that, together, would support the message for this year’s convention. After presenting visual concepts, the Subway® team selected items and our manufacturing partners began production.
TSG’s team at home base coordinated fulfillment and shipping, leaning on their cross-border delivery expertise to organize all the logistics required for international delivery. Meanwhile, TSG’s onsite team worked with the Subway® convention team to set up the store and merchandise all the product upon arrival.
The response to the convention pop up store was unprecedented, with several items requiring reorders during the week. Customers raved about the concept and many took to social media to show off their purchases. We’re ready to raise the bar at the next convention!
